Original garment designs and artwork are the intellectual property of Shahla Dorriz and are protected under applicable copyright, trademark, and design rights law.

Since the 1990s, Shahla Dorriz has worked exclusively in a bespoke model: one-of-one couture, with no garment ever reproduced. Shahla Dorriz preserves a 150-year-old family textile archive from the provinces of Yazd and Esfahan, Iran, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Bukhara, and Baluchistan, including Iranian Qalamkar (blockprinting), soozan-doozi, and gol-dozi works.
